What Do I Need for Recertification?
The Ohio Pest Management Association (OPMA) offers recertification training four times a year. Each training class offers at least five (5) credit hours for commercial license recertification. Note: OPMA does not license, licensing is done through the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA).
Requirements for your recertification as verified by the State of Ohio are:
-
Five (5) hours every three (3) years, with one hour in CORE and at least ½ hour in each of the categories the individual is licensed under.
-
The remaining time/credits can be in any recertification category.
-
The categories typically offered through OPMA Recertification Training are:
-
CORE/12, 7, 10A, 10B, 10D and 10C.
There is no recertification for Category 12. One hour of CORE and meeting the requirements listed in #1 above satisfies the requirement for Category 12. If you have questions on what YOU need, contact the Pesticide Division of ODA at (614) 728-6987.
Fees
OPMA member companies may register individuals for $109.00 each. Non-OPMA member companies may register individuals for $139.00 each prior to September 6th. AFTER September 6th Members ate $129.00 and non-members are $159.00. Please note that if the registering non-member company joins OPMA within thirty (30) days of the training session, then the cost difference will be applied to membership dues. Fees include morning coffee, refreshment breaks, lunch, and course materials
Registration Deadline/Cancellation Policy:
It is suggested that registrations be received at least three (3) business days prior to the event. No refunds will be issued after this deadline. Substitutions may be made at any time.
